Six northern provinces in Vietnam should continue to actively support and participate in two national tourism stimulus programmes – Vietnamese Travelling within Vietnam and Vietnam’s Tourism – Safe and Attractive, said Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

From a “low-cost” destination 20 years ago, Vietnam’s tourism sector has made substantial breakthroughs and become a regular in the last five years on “must-see” lists for international tourists.
The mobilisation of social resources for tourism infrastructure has helped Vietnam’s tourism strengthen its position in the new period.
