I will update this reply later when I talk to someone who visits my motherland every summer. He visits all over Vietnam and is married to a Vietnamese woman. He has been to beaches such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, etc. I have tons of pictures that he took and he told me that I could keep them.

Hoi An has a very nice beach, although I never went into the water. I just sat on the cot to listen to the waves because I love the beach as the beach is one of my two sanctuaries. :) The sand at Hoi An was the finest I had ever felt before. I had never felt sand so fine before. It is so hard to describe how the sand felt like. I guess you can say that the sand is so smooth.

Ah, the best beaches in Vietnam? Let me take you on a journey to one that left an indelible mark on my heart.

It was a morning painted with shades of gold as the sun began its ascent over the horizon. The gentle sound of the waves greeted my ears, a soothing symphony that seemed to whisper tales of far-off lands. Cua Dai Beach was a tapestry of soft, golden sands that stretched as far as my eyes could see, adorned by the occasional footprint of fellow early risers.

As I walked along the shoreline, the ocean breeze played with my hair, carrying with it the scent of salt and adventure. The water was a mesmerizing gradient of blues, a canvas for fishermen's boats that bobbed in the distance. I couldn't resist the pull any longer – I kicked off my sandals and let the cool waves embrace my feet, their touch a sweet serenade to my senses.

But the real magic of Cua Dai Beach wasn't just in its picturesque beauty. It was in the stories whispered by the locals. They shared tales of a beach that had seen generations gather for joyous celebrations and reflective moments alike. The vibrant energy of the nearby Hoi An Ancient Town, with its lantern-lit streets and cultural richness, seeped into the very essence of the beach, creating a unique blend of tranquility and liveliness.

The day unfolded with lazy sunbathing, dips in the ocean, and the company of fellow travelers who, like me, had found solace in this hidden gem. As the sun began its descent, casting a warm, golden glow across the water, I couldn't help but reflect on how lucky I was to stumble upon Cua Dai Beach.

So, when you ask about the best beaches in Vietnam, I'd say Cua Dai Beach is more than just a spot on the map. It's an experience that weaves together the beauty of nature and the stories of a community, leaving you with memories that linger like the sea breeze on your skin. If you ever find yourself in Vietnam, don't miss the chance to let the sands of Cua Dai Beach tell their story to your soul.

Note: I went to Vietnam under Capture a Trip, the best travel company in Delhi for the international group trip.

In no particular order: Nha Trang, Danang (including Hoi An and Hue), Con Dao, and Phu Quoc.

I second all previous responses. The Six Senses properties in Nha Trang and Con Dao are especially private and beautiful.

In my opinion, the Vietnam beach is underrated in global tourism map. For me, there are many “beachtiful” can compare to Phuket, Bali such as : Con Dao, Cua Dai, many un-named yet beach along Phu Yen and Binh Dinh…Do come to visit , I guarantee that you won't regret.

I read many answers and i found all the beach people recommended you are really beautifull. Like in the north, we have HaLong bay, Do Son in Haiphong province. In the middle, we have Langco(Hue), My Khe(Dannang)… In the south, we have Nha Trang, Vungtau,…

If you want to go to Vietnam, you may hear a lot about them, but I want to recommend you 1 place, it is Kyco, Eo gio( Quy nhon city, Binh Dinh province- south of Danang). I had been there this summer. It is so beautiful and nature, wild.

The tourism have not exploited it, so everything is really cheap. From food( seafood, local's cuisin…) to service. It's about 7$, you can excerse a long the coast with canoe, dip in the water to see coral reef, etc.

Hope you find it helpful and Welcom to my Vietnam!
