Golf enthusiasts visiting Hanoi will enjoy a day at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, a relaxing place to tee off with beautiful mountain scenery. Situated just 44km (27 mi) to the west of the city center, this 55-hole resort offers a great break from the metro life and a breath of fresh air.

The Dong Mo Lake is an artificial body of water that the course is built on, and coupled with the stunning Ba Vi Mountain Range, these vistas are hard to beat while teeing off.

BRG Kings Island Golf Courses

There are three complete golf courses at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort: Mountainview, Lakeside, and Kings Course.

Mountainview

Designed in 2004, this par-72, 18-hole course features Novotec Bermuda grass that stays lush all year long. With over 7,000 yds/ 21,000 ft of playable turf, the Mountainview course is one of the most sought-out ones in northern Vietnam.

Lakeside

Opened in 1997, the 18-hole Lakeside course plays on a peninsula into the lake and across two islands. Several of its holes incorporate the water and lake scenery, given its name. The dwarf Bermuda grass fairways are well manicured and challenging, with over 6,500 yds/ 19,500 ft of playing grounds.

This course also offers excellent lighting for evening hours, ideal for golfers who prefer to hit the greens at the end of the day instead of mornings. Lakeside has some of the best views of the Red River Valley and Ba Vi Mountains for those who are all about the scenery while playing.

Kings Course

The 19-hole Kings Course has a 7310-yard (21,930 ft) layout, modern features, and better course choices for experienced golfers. Many of the holes have a complicated design with bunkers and stunning scenery. This course was designed by world-famous golfer Jack Nicklaus II’s company.

The golf resort has more to offer than just great places to tee off, but it has an assortment of other amenities as well. Some of the most popular services and facilities include a caddy service, shower room, golf lessons, locker room, and equipment rental. There is also a bar and restaurant for eating and drinking after hitting the greens.
