Have fun in the hundred-year-old flower village

DONG THAP-Guests can have fun during the day at one of the largest and oldest flowering plants in the country.

Sa Dac Flower Village (Tan Quy Dong, Sa Dac City) is a tourist attraction for domestic and international tourists. The road is about 6 km long filled with flowers of households planted and sold on both sides, is the main attractions. In addition to enjoying and trading, visitors can also participate in entertainment games, eating, resting during the day or overnight.

Flower village open all year round according to the activities of flower farmers. The tour time is suitable in the morning and afternoon, when the sun is not too hot.

Currently, many gardeners build works for tourism such as over-the-top observatories, amusement park, restaurants, cafés in the middle of the flower garden to hold visitors’ feet.

Walking along the flowerroad, you can go to each garden house to see flowers, take pictures and buy ornamental plants from VND 10,000. On the road there are many eye-catching artificial scenery for the needs of “virtual living” of visitors.

The observation tower is 18 m high, located in the middle of the vast flower garden. From the spire, you can zoom in on the colorful flower carpets. The ticket to the tower is 10,000 VND a person.

Some households plant flowers to open amusement park in the garden, providing appropriate dining services for group members, families, groups of friends. There are a variety of small landscapes inside these areas for guests to take photos of.

Folk games in the river such as canoeing, wading fishing ditches, balancing boards, cycling over suspension bridges… is the highlight of some tourist resorts. Guests can rent three-uniform clothes for comfort.

Tickets to the amusement zone are VND 20,000 for an adult. The package of games is about 100,000 VND a person. In addition, the restaurant has many rustic specialties such as pancakes, grilled snakehead fish, chicken hot pot leaves … at the price of 100,000 – 300,000 VND a dish.

From Ho Chi Minh City, you can get to Sa Dac by motorbike, car or bus (average 150,000 VND per turn), in about 3 hours. From Hanoi, the most convenient way to travel is to take a flight to Can Tho, then go on by bus about 80,000 – 100,000 VND a ticket.

Next to the flower village, guests can combine visit some popular tourist attractions such as Huynh Thuy Le ancient house, Kien An Palace pagoda, Phuoc Kien pagoda and enjoy the famous noodles of this country.
