The 3.5-kilometre cable car route will help shorten travel time between the two pagodas, which is expected to boost the tourism development of Hanoi and Hoa Binh.

The project will include a three-floor main station and supporting facilities such as green space, yards, gardens and some huts for passengers to take a rest.

However, more details about the project have not yet been disclosed.

The number of visitors to Tien Pagoda is around 600,000 and the figure to Huong Pagoda is 1.5 million.
