Additionally, there are other exhibits such as a water puppet theater, a communal house, a village gate, and a stone path, which provides insight into the daily life and social organization of the people.

Visiting Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is located in Hanoi, about 8 kilometers from the city center. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The entrance fee is 40,000 VND (about 1.75 USD) for adults and 15,000 VND (about 0.65 USD) for children under 16 years old.

To get there, you can take a taxi or a Grab (the Southeast Asian version of Uber) from the city center. Alternatively, you can take bus number 14 or 38 from Hoan Kiem Lake, which will take you directly to the museum.

The museum is a must-visit for travelers interested in learning about the cultural diversity of Vietnam’s ethnic groups. It is particularly interesting for families with children, as there are many interactive exhibits and activities.
