Hanoi brilliantly decorated to welcome 13th National Party Congress
As the plan, in order to serve the 13th National Party Congress, the Hanoi implemented preparation works for the congress, including embellishing urban areas, improving lighting systems, and environmental sanitation of key streets.
NDO – Under the golden sunlight, Hanoi has been brilliantly decorated with flags and flowers to welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress. Banners, flowers and flags can be seen everywhere, especially along streets connecting the city centre to the National Convention Centre, where the 13th National Party Congress will take place.
Many streets are decorated with a variety of flowers, the flower colours chosen are mainly yellow or red, which symbolises the Party Congress.

Besides flowers and ornamental plants, large posters and banners have been installed in streets such as Ba Trieu, Hang Bai, Phan Dinh Phung, Dien Bien Phu, Thanh Nien, Nguyen Chi Thanh, and Pham Hung.
Across the city, a total of 27 group of posters, 400 banners were installed to serve in the propaganda and visual communication for the 13th National Party Congress.
The slogan “Welcome the Party, Welcome Spring” is decorated with flowers at Lenin Garden area.

The red flag is placed in the area of Tran Duy Hung Street – the gateway to the city centre. There are more than 3,000 flags decorating the main roads and streets.
Decoration work has been basically completed as of January 19, ensuring beautiful, solemn, and timely requirements for the 13th National Party Congress.
