Nhan Dan Newspaper celebrations mark 70th anniversary of first issue

NDO – A ceremony was held on March 11 to mark the 70th anniversary of the first issue of Nhan Dan Newspaper (March 11, 1951 – March 11, 2021).

On the occasion, Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong sent flowers and a letter of congratulations.

The ceremony was attended by former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Politburo member and standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong; former member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo Pham The Duyet; former Politburo member and former permanent member of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Secretariat Phan Dien; and Politburo members: Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh, Minister of Public Security, General To Lam, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Hoa Binh; Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee: head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia, Government Inspector General Le Minh Khai, along with former Party and State leaders, as well as leaders from a range of organisations and enterprises.
