The charming town of Da Lat is a popular destination for golfers, as its hilly environment has moderately cool weather throughout the year. First introduced by the French during colonization, there are three prominent golf courses near Da Lat.

Da Lat has two defined seasons: a dry season that occurs from November to March and a rainy season from April to October. Golf rounds and hotels are usually cheaper during the wet season, however, the dry season offers amazing scenery when many plants are in bloom. Located in the highlands of Da Lat at an elevation of 1,524 m (5,000 ft) above sea level, the Dalat Palace Golf Club was built by the French in 1922. Originally a nine-hole course, today it’s an entire 18-hole course and rated as one of the best in Asia.

Covered in Bentgrass, some of the most valuable turf in the golf world, the layout is designed with well-placed trees, bunkers, and ponds. The golf club offers a caddy service, equipment rental, a pro shop, golf carts, and lessons.

Opened in 2014, the SAM Tuyen Lam Golf Club is ideal for year-round play. Surrounded by tall pine trees and big mountains, the scenery at this course is tough to beat. Additionally, a few of the holes are built along the Tuyen Lam Lake, and it can take until about 10 am for the morning fog to lift and become playable.

There is also a clubhouse, on-site restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms, and luxurious accommodations on the property.

Located just a few minutes away from the Lien Khuong International Airport, Dalat at 1200 Country Club is situated on 8498 hectares/ 1,200 acres. One of its most popular and memorable features is a natural spring-fed lake in the center of the course, taking up about 182 hectares/450 acres.

Another outstanding feature of the Dalat at 1200 Country Club’s course is how much the elevation changes from hole to hole, making it difficult to play without a caddy. A covered driving range, golf academy, and modest-sized clubhouse are facilities at the golf club.
