Mù Cang Chải Yên Bái

Review du lịch Mù Cang Chải siêu chi tiết, lịch trình siêu bài bản

Mu Cang Chai is no longer strange in the map of Vietnam Tourism. And there are also hundreds of detailed reviews on Google. So I don’t plan to do a review, but this time, right in the ripe rice season, I just returned home, there are many inboxes asking me for information about the places in the photos that I go to. So today, I would like to expend all my heart and knowledge about this land to share with you my experience of going to the Blind and related places.

Super detailed Mu Cang Chai travel review, super methodical schedule

WHAT IS MY CANG CHAI?

Mu Cang Chai is a remote district in Yen Bai province. Dubbed the heart of the Northwest, because if you look on the map of Vietnam, you will see Mu Cang Chai located in the middle area, is the heart of the Northwest region. There is no border with foreign countries. However, the traffic up here is not as easy as the way to the border provinces, and this is always the flood center of those historic flash floods.

WHERE IS MY CANG CHAI NAM TOURISM?

To say, the Northwest for me personally is beautiful and loving wherever I go, and there are many more places worth going than Blind. But of course there will be locations that will be the Essence of Essence. And Mu Cang Chai, like Sapa and Dong Van Meo Vac, is also very famous and has been commercialized a lot. But what nature has bestowed, humans can promote and preserve, there are the following:

Mu Cang Chai district together with Van Chan district, Tram Tau district, Nghia Lo town are 4 western districts of Yen Bai located completely separate from the west side of Hoang Lien Son-Pu Luong range and only have one unique road. Highway 32 leads to Lai Chau passing through these 4 districts. The rest are branch roads only for backpackers and locals. How to move, I will continue in a separate section. The main idea in this section is that the tourist supply of Mu Cang Chai will be almost all the way around these 4 districts. That is, traveling to Mu Cang Chai, you will have to go through and can choose more destinations in the remaining 3 districts to rest and enjoy the scenery.

The famous tourist spots for both beautiful scenery and available hotels, homestays and eateries in Mu are mainly located in: Cao Pha, Khau Pha pass, Nga Ba Kim, La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha , Xu Phinh Cricket and Mu Cang Chai town.

And not to be missed the rice viewing spots on the way to Mu Cang Chai at points: Muong Lo field, Nghia Lo town, Tu Le rice valley, Van Chan district.

Some other points if you rent a motorbike or take a private car:

Giang Van Chan Stream, Ta Xua Tram Tau, Hot mineral spring bathing spots at Van Chan, Nghia Lo, Tram Tau, Ngoc Chien (Son La)…

WHAT TO DO TO MY CANG CHAI?

Experiential tourism: Rice hunting
Community tourism: Learn about the ethnic people’s life here: Mainly Hmong and less than Thai

HOW DO I GET TO MY CANG CHANG?

Only 300km away from Hanoi, but the road is completely difficult to travel than corresponding places such as SaPa and Moc Chau because the stretches are the passes from one road to another. Okie, but still rest assured because the Party and the state do not let their people ride horses across the pass.

Going to Mu Cang Chai by bus:

Method 1: If traveling by bus from Hanoi, you can pick up the bus at My Dinh bus station, the bus to Mu Cang Chai mainly goes through Nghia Lo town and a few will follow Noi Bai Lao Cai highway to get there. Racquet guests just province. But mainly the car will run along the road 32 above.

Method 2: Traveling by car of the resort resorts, but unfortunately, Mu Cang Chai has only one resort under construction, Mu Cang Chai Resort, which has not been completed yet. So if you want to stay at the resort, you should stay at Le Champ Tu Le, then rent a car to Mu Cang Chai to play.

Going to Mu Cang Chai by private car:

As I said above, to go blind easily from Hanoi, you can only choose the traditional route of running route 32 according to the route:

My Dinh – Nhon – Son Tay – Trung Ha Ba Vi bridge (Or Dong Quang bridge from Son Tay turn left to go to K9) – Thanh Thuy – Thanh Son Phu Tho – Tan Son Thu Cuc – Ba Khe – Van Chan – Nghia Lo town – Tu Le – Khau Pha Pass – Kim Ba intersection – Mu Cang Chai town. This is easy, just follow GG Map.

When is the most beautiful time in Mu Cang Chai?

Of course, the most famous specialty of Mu Cang Chai is the beautiful stretching terraced fields every time the rice season comes. And because there is only one rice season here, every year in September and October cannot stop the footsteps of tourists coming to admire. The remaining water season in May, June is mainly paparazzi and backpackers.

WHERE?

Mu Cang Chai is mainly budget hotels, homestay-style rooms, houses on stilts, and not many high-end choices for you.Stilt house, homestay of people: this is the most popular type of accommodation in Mu Cang Chai, the stilt houses here have dormitory rooms for 10 to 30 people, you can easily find a homestay on stilts. people, especially around famous tourist attractions such as Ban Thai, La Pan Tan terraced fields, Tu Le … These stilt houses all have accommodation services and grocery sales right at the foot of the house.Hotels: types of hotels are mainly concentrated in Mu Cang Chai town, mainly budget hotels from 1 star to 3 stars, rooms with basic amenities such as beds, bathrooms, televisions, cabinets. cold…
There are a few new Eco lodge sites such as Hello Mu Cang Chai , Mu Cang Chai Eco lodge in La Pan Tan.

You can not stay in Mu Cang Chai but return to Tu Le, Nghia Lo to spend the night. Here the hotels are also a bit more upscale. Because Mu Cang Chai is an area where the Mong people live mainly, while under Tu Le vs Nghia Lo are mainly Thai people. But the Thai people you know, in terms of living habits, the Thai people are much cleaner.

The price should be asked in advance because in the high season, the rooms here often burn out. And how much they can raise the price I don’t know.

EAT WHAT?

Black chicken, Ban pig, upland sticky rice, Ca Suoi, Khau Pha sturgeon salmon, bamboo shoots, cat cabbage just like that, don’t be greedy for other dishes because they are all brought up below.

As for snacks brought home as gifts, it is impossible not to mention Tu Le Green Com. Com here is more secure than all of Hanoi’s nuggets, because you can directly see the people sifting and pounding the nuggets, rather than buying them in bulk at the Hanoi market. The price of the season is 90k/kg fresh nuggets.

People in poor areas are also much more sincere and honest. So the food in the mountains is always surprisingly cheap, not cutting you much.

WHAT TO PLAY IN MY CANG CHAI?

The famous stops of this route include:

📍 Muong Lo field, Nghia Lo town: Muong Lo has long been handed down in praise of the four largest granaries in the Northwest: “Nhat Thanh, Nhi Lo, Tam Than, Tu Tac”. In which, Muong Thanh (Dien Bien) is the largest, Muong Lo is the second largest rice field in the Northwest, then comes Muong Than (Lai Chau) and finally Muong Tac (Son La).

📍Tu Le Valley: A heart-breakingly beautiful rice valley is located in Tu Le commune, Van Chan district. This is where Black Thai people live and make up the majority. Extremely unique and still retains the habit of bathing fairies by the stream.

📍 Cao Pha Valley, Lim Mong Lim Thai: Located a few kilometers from Tu Le towards MCC. The valley is located right at the foot of Khau Pha pass, where there are the most peaceful and beautiful Thai villages in Vietnam, I assure you. This is definitely my go-to place in the future.

📍Kau Pha Pass: One of the four great peaks of Vietnam, I don’t need to introduce much.

Stepping to the land of Mu Cang Chai, there is no shortage of terraced fields for you to see, it will stretch from the beginning of the district to the end of the district. Running along Highway 32, section through Mu Cang Chai, starting from Tu Le Town and Cao Pha Commune, passing through Khau Pha Pass, passing through the communes of De Xu Phinh, Nga Ba Kim, Che Cu Nha, La Pan Tan, and Mu town. Cang Chai.

SCHEDULE 3N2D (Madebyme)

I have quite a few schedules that I can tell everyone, because every year I go in a different way. When still backpacking by motorbike, when by passenger car, and when by family car. Sometimes from Sapa to Mu Cang Chai, sometimes from Son La to and sometimes from Hanoi. In short, I am writing about my trip that just ended a few days ago. Departing from Hanoi by family car with 3N2D schedule, accompanied by children!

Day 1:

6am depart from Hanoi

11:30 a.m. to Nghia Lo town, take a break for lunch at Com Muong Lo restaurant, Hung Van, Nghia Lo town. This is a big restaurant and makes rice super fast, everything is delicious. 9 people in my family ate to full but paid almost 800k. Especially, there are extremely many snacks to buy as gifts, but the quality is delicious. Especially yogurt in glass jars, sticky rice cakes. If you don’t book in advance, you won’t be able to eat it. The restaurant is located opposite the Western hotel on Dien Bien street. Tel: 0978999585

13h move 94km to Tu Le. Stop to take pictures on Khau Pha pass.

Go to Three Houses Bridge to take pictures of Big Raspberry. Coming here, you can only walk or take a motorbike taxi. The price of a motorbike taxi to Raspberry is 60k/person. In the past, it was a waste of time, but now the road is well filled with concrete. Ticket price to visit is 20k/person, the total is 80k/person.

17h Arrive in Mu Cang Chai town, check in at the hotel “Sleeping Hostel”, the name sounds like you want to sleep, right? Okie here is new, so it’s very clean, has full hot and cold air conditioning. Stream view. The motel is located in group 3- Mu Cang Chai Town, phone number: 0914170108

17h30 ride a motorbike taxi to Horseshoe hill to catch the sunset. This fruit is truly horrifying. The way up is 1.7km, but it is guaranteed to be an obsession for many tourists who are not used to adventure travel. But when you get there, you won’t be disappointed. To get here, you can only choose a motorbike taxi. But to go is to really hug, not kidding. The price of a motorbike taxi is 100k/person/round trip. Ticket price is 20k/person. Total is 120k / person come here

Back to the hotel, shower, sleep, and have dinner at Quyen Huong restaurant right next to the Sleeping House. You should order food in advance from the time you check in. In the evening, take a walk into the Thai village from the Mu market, go 1km to watch the dance, dance, light a campfire and everything, then go back to sleep.

Day 3:

Waking up in the morning to visit and take pictures, just breathing in the air is enough. At 8:00 a.m. get on the bus to depart for Hanoi.

Lunch break at Yellow Street – Thanh Son. Go back to Ba Vi, eat yogurt, buy milk cakes and everything, then go straight back to Hanoi to rest early for the market.

More about Homestay:

This is a homestay chain of a community project called Khau Pha Homestay. This chain includes 3 homestays: Khau Pha Homestay, Kien Phanh homestay, Quan Pom homestay, located in It Thai village, Cao Pha commune, Mu Cang Chai district – in my opinion, this is one of the most peaceful and beautiful Thai villages in Vietnam. Male. The road to the village is a slope right next to Cao Pha Commune People’s Committee. You can contact the manager here, Thao Nguyen, phone number: 0888050528 to book accommodation. It must be said that the homestays are well-trained, so staying here will not disappoint you. The people are friendly, honest, and have a lot of enthusiasm, so you don’t have to worry about being hacked or anything. The price of 1 night stay is 150k/person including breakfast. Sleeping on stilts, lying on a mattress with a curtain as a partition.
Main meal is 150k/person/meal. The food is clean, delicious and very filling. Free breakfast according to the room rate, you can book in advance like chicken porridge for example.

COST: The total of my family’s trip including transportation, eating, sleeping and sightseeing fees is 2 million,800k/person.

Due to having a 3-year-old child with me, this time I chose to rest more than to explore more. However, every road will have its pluses and minuses. But Mu Cang Chai will definitely bring you more emotions than minus points. Wish you have a memorable trip!
