The unspoiled beauty of the place known as “Ha Long Bay” on land in Thanh Hoa

Ben En National Park belongs to two districts of Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan, which is likened to “Ha Long Bay” on land in Thanh country. There are 21 large and small islands with rich flora and fauna ecosystems.

Ben En National Park tourist area stretches between Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts, about 45km southwest of Thanh Hoa city center.

Ben En National Park was established in 1992 with an area of ​​more than 15,000 hectares. The garden has flora including 462 species, 125 sets. In particular, in that extremely rich flora, there is a famous green iron, endemic in Vietnam, with a lifespan of several hundred years with a diameter of nearly 3m. There are also rare and precious species of wood such as chi, incense, sage, golden heart, ironwood, cycad, slice of flower… and more than 300 species of medicinal plants.

This place is also surrounded by rivers, especially the lake of the river, which is more than 4,000 hectares wide.

Visiting Ben En, visitors will experience the service of sailing, canoeing around the lake of the Muc River, watching the islands with diverse and rich ecosystems. With the clear blue water, the four seasons the lake is always calm, the large and small islands undulating creating a charming landscape, visitors will feel like they are traveling on “Ha Long Bay”.

In Ben En National Park, there are still many rare and precious animals, some of which are listed in the Red Book.

To protect forest resources and conserve precious plant and animal species, Ben En National Park is strictly managed. On the islands will be arranged ranger stations, with patrol officers, strictly on duty, strictly prohibiting acts of littering, hunting, destroying forests …
