Originally opened in 1901, Trang Tien Shopping Center is one of the oldest malls in the city. As you meander through the grand, Georgian-Esque halls, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported back in time to the first-class decks of the Titanic. Shopping at Trang Tien Shopping Center features fashion, technology, and grocery departments.

On the uppermost floors, an expansive food court can be found as well as several offices. Trang Tien Plaza is open from 9 am to 9 pm on weekdays, with an extra 90 minutes added on during weekends. As is the case with all major Hanoi malls, it’s best to avoid weekends if you wish to use all the amenities.

AEON Mall Long Bien

Here, you can find household brands and famous names, along with several food outlets serving a diverse menu.

Brands such as Adidas, New Balance, and Dr. Martens all have outlets in the AEON Mall, and there is plenty of English-speaking staff on-hand to guide your shopping experience. The AEON Mall is located in Long Bien, a 20-minute drive from the city’s Old Quarter. The mall is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
