50 days without infecting the community nCoV

On the morning of October 23, the Ministry of Health did not record a positive case for nCoV, 50 days without community infection.

Over the past 24 hours, four new cases were added, three of them recovered. The total number of infections is 1,148, the number is 1,049. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests.

The remaining patients are being treated at the most stable health facilities, in which 7 people tested negative for nCoV once, 5 were negative for the second time and 11 were negative for the third time.

Up to now, Vietnam has recorded 691 cases of Covid-19 caused by domestic infections, the rest are on entries. The increase in the number of cases over the past month is all entries. The total number of people who have been in close contact and entering from the quarantine area is nearly 14,000. In which, isolation concentrated in the hospital nearly 150; concentrated isolation more than 12,000, the remainder at home or accommodation.

According to the Ministry of Health, epidemic outbreaks have been basically controlled, however, the risk of infiltration is always permanent, especially when increasing the number of flights bringing Vietnamese citizens and water experts. In addition, the next time is winter and spring, favorable weather conditions for a number of infectious diseases to develop and spread.

Currently, the Ministry of Health has issued many guidelines for epidemic prevention. However, in recent years, a number of localities and units have not properly implemented the regulations and instructions. There is a situation of neglect in the issue of isolation, especially not monitoring and closely monitoring isolated cases in the community and at home.

The Ministry of Health recommends ministries, branches and localities to prepare situations of epidemic spreading widely in the community, quarantine, monitor, test, accept treatment, and prepare for social security issues.

The world records more than 1.1 million deaths from COV, out of more than 41 million infected. The three largest epidemic regions in the world are the US, India and Brazil.
