7 new worlds appearing in Hau Giang

You can admire the ancient magical works of Egypt, Greece, Iraq, Turkey … with the miniature version.

The grounds of 7 ancient states are located in Ward 5, Duong Thanh City, Hau Giang Province. It is impressed by a large fountain in the middle, surrounded by simulations of ancient wonderies such as the Statue of Zeus in Olympia (Greece), the Great Pyramid of Giza (Egypt), the Statue of the Sun Rhodes (Greece), the Mausoleum (Turkey), the Lighthouse of Alexandria (Egypt), the Hanging Garden of Babylon (Iraq), the Temple of Artemis (Turkey). The Great Pyramid of Giza (Egypt), also known as the Pyramid of Kheops, is the only of the seven ancient wonderies in the world to survive today, dating back 4,500 years. The work is entirely made of human strength and takes 20 years to complete. A copy of this building in Hau Giang also has a sing-er statue.

Huyen Suong runs a motorbike 40 km to Thanh City to visit the ancient exotic park. She also invests in costumes, phones, selfie sticks to take beautiful photos.

The first time I came, I did not know all the names of the ancient customs in this park, after the trip, I will start to learn about them,” Nhu Nhu said.

The famous 1,500-year-old original Alexandria Lighthouse in Alexandria, Egypt, was built to guide ships into the port of Alexandria safely. Alexandria Lighthouse is considered the benchmark for all later lighthouses with three floors: The low part is square with a central core, the middle part is octagonal and the top is round. The building underwent several repairs due to damage caused by the earthquake and collapsed completely in 1303.

The original temple of Artemis Temple is a marble temple in Ephesus, 114m long, nearly 55m wide. The shrine impresses with its 127 glossy white marble columns supporting the temple roof, each weighing nearly 100 tons. Through many fluctuations destroyed and rebuilt and burned, today the temple has only foundations and some other parts.

Zeus is considered the king of the Greek gods. The original Olympic statue of Zeus was made of wood, ivory and metal, however it was destroyed in a fire in Constantinople (Istanbul) in 462 BC and has no copies. What is known about this statue is through the descriptions in ancient records and drawings on ancient coins.

Currently, the park is gradually completing some construction items and is open for free to visitors. At night, the park also has water music program with sound, live light.
