A day of adventure in the pine forest of Hue
THUA THIEN – HUE The straight pine forests on Vong Canh hill, Thien An hill make visitors think of Da Lat.
Thua Thien – Hue is a destination with diverse experiences, visitors can go up to the forest to go to the sea or visit tombs and temples. Located at the highest point of Thien An hill is Thien An Monastery , founded in 1940 by the Benedictine monks. The current building was built in 1994 with bold Asian architecture including a bell tower, chapel, retreat house…
The way to the monastery passes through gentle stone steps, guests just go and enjoy the peaceful and quiet space. This place is quite crowded in the afternoon, but everyone has a sense of order. The space of the monastery is large, so each person can find their own way.

After the movie “Beared Eyes” was released, Vong Canh Hill became the check-in point for many tourists. For beautiful photos, you can pose on the steep path or walk on the small trails on both sides of the forest.
The 43-meter-high hill is considered by tourists to be the most beautiful place to watch the gentle and winding Perfume River, in the distance are rolling hills and mountains.
