You don’t have to be an art expert to become entranced by Ho Chi Minh City’s Artinus 3D Art Museum. Featuring mind-bending optical illusions, 3D imagery, and over 100 paintings, this quirky exhibit transforms still paintings into immersive, cinematic backdrops.

Located in District 7, this unorthodox art gallery was first opened in 2015. The 4,000 square-meter space is chock-full of large-scale pieces created by skilled Korean artists. By utilizing lighting, distance, frame, and texture, the artisans can make paintings that seemingly come to life and jump out of their frames.

The gallery is divided into nine unique zones: Animal, Ocean, Classical, Vietnam, Egypt, Giant, Strange House, Fairy, and Romantic. Each zone features and showcases different artistic movements and styles, offering unique photo opportunities at each turn.

Visitors can have their photos taken as they battle dragons, explore the oceans, and lock eyes with King Kong. A visit to the Classical section will appeal to even the most seasoned art fanatic, whilst children will love the Giant and Fairy Zones.
