Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery is located about 15 km from the city center, the distance is not too far. History of Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery
Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen monastery is the largest in the South West, located in Nhon My hamlet, My Khanh, Phong Dien, Can Tho. The temple was started construction in 2013 and until May 17, 2014, it was officially inaugurated. With solemn and large space, it is divided into many special areas with delicate Buddha and Arhat statues.

Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery in Can Tho is located in an area of 38,016 m2 with the architecture of the pagoda from the Ly – Tran dynasty. Some note when visiting
– To ensure the solemnity of the temple, when visiting here, remember to dress discreetly, not revealing. Wearing pants should be over the knee, not too short to avoid being invited out.
– The monk’s resting areas in the temple are usually not a reception place, so avoid voluntarily entering.
– Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery is free to enter and park the car. There is also a small water counter inside, where to rest after visiting the temple.
– The monastery is open daily from 5am to 9pm.
