Pooh Bear Cave Hotel in real life in the UK

In the UK, there is a unique Pooh bear cave hotel, identical to the illustrations in the cartoon and classic literary works.

In the Ashdown Forest in West Sussex, England, there is a hotel located in a tree called “Bearbnb”. This hotel is designed and decorated based on the illustrations of the Pooh bear cave in the movie and literary classic.

It is known that the owner of this special hotel is artist Kim Raymond – who has been drawing the image of Pooh bear in cartoons for 30 years. He conceived and designed this hotel. At the same time, he is also a guide for guests to stay here.

“Pooh is a much-loved cartoon character,” said Catherine Powell, head of hosts at Airbnb. This hotel is a way for many to remember the cute bear from the AA Milne classic.

Hotel “Bearbnb” is like a bear’s den, with an area just enough for a family of 4. Outside the hotel is a “Mr. Sanders” sign hanging on the door, the branches wrapped around the house. Inside the hotel there is a single bed, 2 bunk beds and a cupboard containing the honey jars of Pooh Bear.

The hotel does not have a bathroom, but a fully equipped toilet is located right next to it. When coming here, visitors will be picked up at the Poohsticks bridge and served local dishes.

This hotel also set some strict rules for guests such as not putting their hands in honey jars and encouraging snacks at 11 o’clock. “This is a fascinating experience for bear fans, honoring the adventure that has been alive for 95 years.”, artist Kim Raymond said.

It is expected that the Pooh bear hotel will open to welcome guests on September 24 and 25 in the UK. Currently, the price for a night at this hotel is 131 USD (approximately 3 million VND). The hotel owner said the booking fee will be donated to a charity.
