Recently, a hotel nearing completion in Scotland with a coiled spiral shape has aroused unflattering comparisons. It is known that it is the Ribbon Hotel, a copper-colored hotel nearing completion in Edinburgh (Scotland), part of the high-end hotel chain W Hotel, owned by Marriott International.
The Ribbon Hotel is part of an $800 million development in the Scottish capital that includes a shopping centre, a cinema and luxury apartments. If the architects behind the hotel’s construction project, Jestico & Whiles, shared that it “was designed like a coiled ribbon, creating a building full of freedom and boldness”, then the crowd. I think that this hotel is designed like an emoji shaped… “poop”!

A Marriott group representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the matter. As for the fans, they couldn’t help but enjoy when they made pictures of Ribbon Hotel in a more “mocking” way:
