Thai delicacies at Som Tum Thai restaurant in Hanoi

HANOI – Crayfish soup, salmon salad with lotus root, poached eggs with tamarind sauce… are typical dishes of the Golden Temple at Som Tum Thai Vincom Center Metropolis.

Som Tum Thai brand has just opened its first restaurant at Vincom Center Metropolis, Hanoi.

Mr. Sangtongs Veerawut – Thai chef – has more than 20 years of experience accompanying Som Tum Thai, will bring Hanoi diners with bold and spicy flavors.

In particular, Tom Yum crayfish soup scored thanks to the fatty aroma of coconut milk, passionate from spices and herbs, sour and spicy broth with the highlight of fresh crayfish.

The second dish that is equally stimulating to the taste buds is salmon salad with lotus root. This is one of the new dishes, a cross between Japanese and Thai cuisine famous in Bangkok. The attraction of this dish is fresh salmon combined with lotus root and rich sauce with 4 layers of sour – spicy – salty – sweet flavors.

Dishes with tamarind sauce, although popular, but for a very special taste, are also one of the dishes that are loved by many diners.

Stir-fried crab vermicelli impresses with carefully selected sea crabs combined with fragrant fried vermicelli.

Diners coming to the restaurant can also enjoy many typical Thai milk tea dishes.

The restaurant’s representative shared that the chef has harmonized two original spices imported from Thailand combined with fresh local ingredients, to transform into original Thai dishes, but still suitable for Vietnamese taste.

In addition to delicious dishes to please diners, the restaurant also scores points thanks to the Thai design space, with green patches combined with colorful brocade motifs.

Each space is meticulously cared for to welcome the first guests to the tropics.

On the occasion of the grand opening, from now until November 30, Som Tum Thai will give a gift to a group of 3 guests when they come to dine and check-in at Vincom Center Metropolis branch. You can choose one of 3 dishes including: one sunny pig, chicken green curry, dried shrimp papaya salad.

In addition, for every bill from one million dong, diners are given a bag or backrest pillow. Bills from 500,000 VND, Som Tum Thai gives customers 100,000 VND voucher, applicable for the next Thai food party at this branch.
