The strange charm of Mui Ke Ga
If Phan Thiet is famous for its beautiful beaches, long smooth white sand, Mui Ke Ga, just 20km to the East, has more exotic rocks arranged in all shapes to evoke curiosity for visitors.
Although the resorts keep coming up one by one, Mui Ke Ga still retains the wild and idyllic features inherent in the marine nature with its exotic poplar lobes and marble slabs.
Wild, idyllic nature
Different from the gentle beauty of the beautiful beaches running along the fine white sand in Phan Thiet, Mui Ke Ga strongly impresses visitors by the rocky beach with full-sized rocks “basking” as “exposing soldiers. father battle ”. Therefore, local people often refer to this place as “rock garden”. The stone slabs of all shapes: round, square, long, short … stacked, seemingly messy, but easily evoke many associations.
Ke Ga Lighthouse
At an altitude of 65m above sea level, Ke Ga lighthouse has long been the pride of Binh Thuan tourism . This is a lighthouse designed by French architect Chnavat, built in 1899 with marble, with 184 spiral steps. Setting foot on the lighthouse, the whole blue sky will be caught in sight, the wind blows with the same layer of waves lapping at the base of the tower to create a simple scene.
According to historical records, Ke Ga cape is an extremely dangerous position in the waters from Phan Rang to Vung Tau. Since centuries ago, many merchant ships when passing here were wrecked because they could not determine the direction. Therefore, in 2 years (1897 – 1899), the French studied and built the Ke Ga lighthouse to meet the transport needs of the French army as well as foreign merchant ships. By 1900, Ke Ga lighthouse was put into use, on a tower with a large light bulb of 2,000W with a scanning radius of 22 nautical miles (equivalent to 40km).
Abandoned castle
About 400m from Ke Ga Lighthouse is an abandoned castle. This is considered one of the virtual living places to play crazy young people and has appeared in many music videos as well as famous movies, this work is built in the style of Western classic, with fortresses overlooking the romantic surrounding space.
