The park has two distinct sides, one for amusement and the other representing Southeast Asian culture and heritage, named the cultural zone. The cultural zone is broken up into ten different sections: Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia, Nepal, Korea, and Singapore. The Indonesian zone is the first area that can be seen after entering the park.

There is an entry fee that will unlock access to the arcade, roller coasters, and other amusement facilities. Additionally, there are plenty of food stalls and restaurants where visitors can take a break from the action and refresh themselves.

Attractions

The most prominent feature of Asia Park – Sun World Da Nang Wonders is the iconic Sun Wheel. One of the tallest Ferris wheels in the world, the Sun Wheel offers spectacular views of the Han River, the Han River Bridge, and the city of Da Nang. While riding the Sun Wheel is terrific during the day, its real powers begin to show after nightfall.

Da Nang is brilliantly lit at night, and the Sun Wheel itself is equipped with vibrant, multicolored lights which transform its appearance. While the Sun Wheel does not stop to collect passengers, its slow rotation allows people to enter and leave as they please. The pods are also large enough to fit between four and five people.

As the crown jewel of Sun World Da Nang, a ride on the Sun Wheel is an absolute must. There’s also a stunning garden around the base, and a shrine to Buddha can be found in its proximity. If you’re eager to ride the Sun Wheel, it’s recommended to visit at night as the views are spectacular and the fewer crowds meaning you can try more attractions.

The Singapore Swing is another highly popular ride. Riders are spun around in a circle before embarking on a death-defying vertical drop where they reach speeds of 65 km/h. This one is not for the faint of heart! Additional rides include multiple rollercoasters, a carousel, Dino Island, a newly added water amusement area, and other fun attractions that the entire family can enjoy.

Getting There

Getting to the park is relatively straightforward as it is only 12 minutes away from Da Nang Airport and 15 minutes from Da Nang Station.

The perfect family destination, Asia Park – Sun World Da Nang Wonders is a fascinating mix of architecture, amusement, and fun. If you’re looking for a place for some carefree fun in Da Nang, the park is definitely worth a visit.
